Released its CD “acoustic energy to electric power” - a 13 song, 40 minute, blast of digital rock. The CD showcases Sandpit’s love affair with sound textures and melody.
After some time spent playing with toys in the dark world of its digital sandpit in Wellington, Sandpit has emerged with a tasty brew of electro-pop and digital rock, flavoured with analog keyboards and driven by strong bass lines.
A studio project of Damian’s, “acoustic energy to electric power” includes guest appearances from - Blair & Marcus (the L.E.D.s), Gil (ambient composer, musician and audio engineer), and Grant (Grasslands).
Damian's next project may be to bring Sandpit to the stage.
