CRY BABY JO are the swingin'est bunch of hip shakin' foot stompin' rockabilly musicians to be found in Christchurch.

When Lead Guitarist Paul Fontana returned in 2006 after playing in Texas with top US artists his mission was to bring an authentic 50's rockabilly sound with an alt country edge to New Zealand. P.J. Sparkabilly soon jumped aboard on Acoustic Rhythm Guitar and vocals with the sweet singin' sounds of JoJo taking the majority of Lead Vocals. After Nevo (the Dream) Weavers thumped in with his infectious walking Bass and brush swingin' Niccocino joined on skins, "Cry Baby Jo" was born.

Being a hit with both the swing and rock'n'roll dance crowds their shows are full of high energy moves and grooves. This was picked up by TVNZ when they were invited to play on Breakfast for their 10th Anniversary Celebrations.

So strap on the waist cincher,get out your swirling skirts, polish up your leathers, slick back your hair and get ready to swing your thang at a Cry baby Jo gig near you!!
