Akaname

Formed in Wellington in 2005 Akaname is currently a 5-piece mostly instrumental grindcore,metal,experimental and dirge 5-piece. Akaname's sound blends angular segues of relentless riffage/blast beats with ethereal sonic textures and spacious interludes. Their debut EP "Filthlicker" was released in Dec 2007 and they are currently signed to Oklahoma (USA) based label Debello Recordings.
