About this night creeps from Hamilton

It seems a long time since the creeps formed in 2002 to bring you their debut MCD via Auckland’s hardest working Independent label 1157 records, but the revolution is back on! This Night Creeps will be in Australia in June on a tour that is currently being planned as you sleep.
Also in the works is a split record with Australian band that shall remain nameless for the time being. Ideas are being hatched to bring the mess of duct tape and cardboard that is the creep’s rehearsal space to the outside world. Bags are being retro-fitted to hold tangled leads and cheap distortion pedals, keyboards and samples have been prepared and guest performers are being trained as you read this.

Described as 'cinematic, emotionally and structurally complex music' (punkas.com) and among other things, ‘arty and smart, but not in the disappearing up their own crack kind of way. This Night Creeps toured hard all 2003 on their debut record bringing its guitar intensity to all of the north islands major cities several times. Supporting international acts Hot Water Music, The Dropkick Murphys and Strung Out, as well as label mates The Bleeders.

Summer 2003/2004 was spent preparing their new set after the departure of Co-founding member Steve Uren to his new home in Sydney Australia, now the four piece is completed by Mark Seeney of Hamilton chaos core kings 'The Red Shift'. His angular drumming style will be an interesting match up to the melodic math rhythms of the group’s gat/vox duo Luc and Mark, with Jeff Burch's solid bass playing adding the extra melody synonymous with what audiences have come to know as the groups spontaneously destructive and unpredictably chaotic live shows.

Luke McPake - Guitar/Vocals
Mark Brenorffer - Guitar/Vocals
Jeffrey Burch - Bass Guitar
Mark Seeny (Wurzel) - Drums
