-Reviews-
"I can't think of too many other groups remotely like this... Economy and Space is a fitting track title - there's a lot the current generation of well schooled jazz noodlers could learn about the topic from this group."
-Dominion Post
"Sounds like the soundtrack to a dinner party in the 1960s, where the slightly conservative guests accidentally take acid and wind up having a meaningfully awesome dance-trip in a desert."
-Pavement
"Tracks such as "The Bulb", "Loma" and "Coloured Silence" echo the sheer sense of scop and awe which Tortoise only managed to capture on 2004's It's All Around You."
-The Silent Ballet (USA)
"Timeless...inventive melodic explorations...defies classification."
-Rip It Up
"One of the more interesting indie bands in NZ at the moment...SK refreshingly ventures into the largely untapped territory of utterly cinematic, instrumental soundscapes reminiscent of Ennio Morricone... A breath of fresh air."
-Sunday Star Times
"One of 2004's standout local releases"
-National Radio
"Salon Kingsadore's darkest moments can be utterly beautiful."
-Real Groove
"Even without a mouth they're not shy of decent tunes...vocal-free but jazzy imagination and deft lightness of touch."
-NZ Herald
"Like an imaginary instrumental surf group hired by David Lynch for some surreal homage to an endless wrap-up party."
