Hello! We're Diesel Phoenix, a Rock Band based in Auckland, New Zealand. We've been together since the fall of 2006. In May 2008 we changed our name from DonkeyPunk to Diesel Phoenix following a line up change & new addition of our good friend Carlos Voight (Keyboard). Since forming we have had several commercial releases, dropped our debut album 'White Lies & Black Hearts', and toured both in our home country & internationally. The five members of Diesel Phoenix are the best of friends, more like family, and were brought together by a shared passion for great music. Put simply, music saved our lives. Together, and with the help of our fans, we believe we can make a difference in this world.
We write music together in the hope that our message will reach those who need it most... To anyone in this world that feels detached from thier own life - we want you to know that there are five guys here who believe in you. We want to help you to believe in yourself. You are a beautiful and unique human being. You do not owe favours to anyone else and this planet would be lost without you here. Any fan of Diesel Phoenix is a friend of these five guys. We will not write a song to fit a niche, get on a radio station or a T.V show, pretend to be something we are not, or feed an evil corporate machine. We are a 100% independent act and are not signed to any record label, publisher, promoter, management corporation, or publicist.
