The Auckland Rockshop, where it all began
The first Rockshop opened at 100 Karangahape Road, Auckland in 1986. By ordering and supplying key brands at great prices it set the music scene on fire.
As the shop surged from strength to strength, it eventually out grew it's premises at 100K Road and spread into 76, 78, 94, and 98 K Road - these stores now make up Auckland Drumshop, Auckland Bassshop, Auckland Digital and Auckland DJPA.
Having specialist stores has allowed the original Auckland Rockshop to expand it's extensive selection of electric and acoustic guitars, and all their accessories. Pay n Display street parking is available as far as the eye can see, and parks are available right at the front door.
