Brand New Math on tour

Brand New Math on tour

Saturday 13th September, 2008 12:00PM

On the back of their first bnet hit – Weapon of Parnell, a tale of rohypnol and C4 presenters that was number one on the 95bfm Top Ten for a month – AK-cerebro-popists Brand New Math have recently released an EP (‘Moustache Party’ available through Border Music), had another hit (Idiot Savant did even better than Weapon) and recorded their first video.

Now, they’ve replaced their ramshackle gear ensemble with the force and authority of a 1980’s Yamaha synthesiser, some 3-part harmonies, fuzzy guitars, and 4/4 beats. Settled on their sound, they’re getting set to play new material up and down the country.
