------------------Press Release:
This show is said to be the last for NIN for quite some time and the band have handpicked a great local act to support them. The Naked and Famous will open at NIN’s NZ concert. The Naked and Famous have made quite a name for themselves in the previous year and are absolutely thrilled to be playing on this bill. It’s been eight years since their last performance in NZ at Big Day out 2000 and now it is with great pleasure that The Frontier Touring Company announce the return of Nine Inch Nails (NIN) for one show only in Auckland at Vector Arena on Tuesday 17 February 2009. Nine Inch Nails (NIN) is the “most popular industrial act ever” formed by founder and frontman Trent Reznor in 1989 in Cleveland, Ohio. First release, Pretty Hate Machine found an audience with rockers as well as mainstream listeners and from there spawned a 20 year career which has seen Trent Reznor receive 10 Grammy Award nominations and 2 Grammy Award wins as well as being named one of Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Greatest Rock Acts of all time. Reznor exists as the only official member of NIN. He gathers groups of skilled artists to play with him on each of his live tours yet remains as the sole musician, singer and producer on all of his recordings.
NIN and Trent Reznor have released a total of 12 albums since their conception in 1989 (four of which were remix albums). With his most recent releases in 2008, Ghost I-IV and The Slip digitally released under Creative Commons licenses, The Slip was made available as a free download on NIN website www.nin.com Currently on tour in North America, NIN are said to play homage to huge set list spanning songs from their entire career and playing for over 2 hours. This is a must see show for fans new and old.
Tickets for this un-missable concert will go on sale from 9.00am on Wednesday 10 December through Ticketmaster www.ticketmaster.co.nz (09) 970 9700 and pre-sale details will be online at www.frontiertouring.com

Ground beef.
That has to be worth a couple of tickets.
Having not a cent to my name makes it somewhat impossible to purchase tickets myself.
I also have an equally as poor, equally in love with NIN friend who would be ecstatic to go as much as i would.
PLEASE!!
Would be the highlight of my year, no doubt.
It Could Be My Only Posibble Chance To Ever Se Them Perform Live.
So it would be an awesome gig to go to to leave knowing it was with a bang:)
:D
Please and thankyou.
Regards, Nic
SAVE ME PLEASE

Like pre pretty hate machine.
In fact, I own a copy of halo one- (obviously) his first release, a maxi single of 'down in it', featuring various re-rubs..
That and I've just moved up from CHCH to study, my trailer had a blowout and my poor little car broke down twice. So, what limited funds I had to tide me over have been decimated!
Amoung those reasons NIN rocks, and this may be the only chance i ever get to see a band that means something to me, live.

Please and Thank You.
Being stuck down here in Wellington, I cant afford to both get up there and buy tickets :(
But i could afford to get up there if i won tickets!
