Sad news today with one of the most interesting and thought provoking authors of our time JG Ballard having died at 78 from prostate cancer.
Cited as picturing the psychology of the future his topics edged on the unsafe side of society.
He was most famed for his novels Concrete Jungle, Cocaine Nights, High Rise, Crash, and Empire of the Sun the last two that were also made into hit movies
