Self produced and recorded at the Lab studio in Auckland with ace engineer and songsmith Joll Mullholland, Alice By The Moon contains a more eclectic and varied style of songwriting than the rock and roll swagger of first LP, Hunting Whales. There are smooth grooves and falsetto vocals aplenty (”Back Of The Restaurant” and “Ballroom Baby”), the Dandy Warhols meets Oasis chiming wall of noise that is new single “You And Me”, the garage rock stomp of “Get Off The Stage Man”, the reggae/rock hybrid that NZ crowds have grown to love (“Bagherra” "Hold My Head"), the quirky strolling pop of “Till The Dance Is Over”, and many other gems amongst the albums 13 songs. Alice By The Moon will be in stores on June 8.
