Friday 19th June, 2009 4:36PM

Epaulette in Association with Torque present…Van She Tech “Ze Vemixes Album Release Party”

Van she released one of 2008’s more thrilling debut record trips in the shape of v. a collection of spacey, proggy dance sonics with it’s foot firmly planted in the pop world, v delivered on the promise van she have been showing since their inception to be one of Australia’s more adventurous new wave of acts. On June 12 Van She will release ‘Ze Vemixes,’ that same record, but not as we know it, and to celebrate van she will be out on the road in June and July bringing that revamped record to New Zealand on the 25th of July to Ink and Coherent.

Ze Vemixes is that record sent through a shredder, with the pieces reassembled and fed through a bank of effects and filters, most notably that effect known as “techno this, bitch!” Ze Vemixes features album tracks, a live favourite, and one completely new track as a completely invigorated set of slamming modern techno, a selection of Van She hits given the famous Van She Tech pummelling into the kind of jacking disco that everyone wants to be at and no one wants to leave.
