The second installment of the Cheese On Toast Singles Club held monthly at The Bacco Room is happening this weekend and the 7" on offer features singles from Street Chant and Brand New Math

Brand New Math have recorded a brand new song especially for this release - Got Milky; a slice of infectious grunge-pop that we think is a step in a new direction for the band - with wall-of-sound guitars and a whole new maturity to Bradley's voice. Brand New Math are a party band - but with Got Milky, it's a serious party!

And the bratty Auckland trio Street Chant have recorded their live favorite Scream Walk as part of their sessions for their forthcoming debut album; the track illustrates the band to be up there with some of the greats in terms of their song writing - as one pundit recently put it - their "songwriting prowess is irritatingly undeniable."

The 7" will be released at a special party held at Bacco Room on Saturday 4 July where both acts will perform live sets and support provided by Dj Chilly Chilli who plays nothing but 7" singles all night long.

The single will be for sale to the general public at the extra special show price of just $8 a copy at the gig and an entirely reasonable $15 each after the gig (available directly from the bands or from www.cheeseontoast.co.nz - while, and if, stocks last).
