Review: Dial + Win A Copy

Review: Dial + Win A Copy

Friday, 3rd July 2009 12:00PM

Dial are a hardcore noise-rock band from Wellington who have recently re-released their debut self-titled EP through American based label Robotic Empire (distributed via Revolver).

The EP was originally a demo which Robotic Empire picked up and pressed/released proper last month to rave reviews all over the show.

Dial are currently on a hiatus of sorts, writing and re-configuring the band after their drummer, Otis Chamberlain, of Akaname and Ornithologist moved to Melbourne with those two band – an all too familiar story these days.

We’re hoping to catch up with Dial sometime soon to find out what’s up but in mean time check out our review of the EP here and have a listen to track 2 - Holy Silent War.
