MGMT All Ages DJ Set
Wednesday, 15th July 2009 12:00PMJust announced - MGMT will be playing an all ages DJ set at the Bacco Room in Auckland on Monday 20th July with all the proceeds going to aid Chris Knox's recovery. Knox was supposed to support MGMT as The Tall Dwarfs but suffered a stroke last month and is unable to perform.
Tickets ($20) go on sale tomorrow Thursday 16th July from Ticketmaster and Real Groovy - limited doorsales will also be available.
Promoters have emphasised that this is a DJ set only - MGMT will not be performing live.
If you've been living under a rock and didn't know MGMT were coming to NZ - too late, their THREE shows sold out pretty much as soon as they went on sale.
