Beastie Boys Founder Diagnosed With Cancer
Tuesday, 21st July 2009 12:00PMHip-hop icons the Beastie Boys have revealed that founder member MCA - real name Adam Yauch - is suffering from cancer.
Adam Yauch, a.k.a. MCA, announced that he has throat cancer in a YouTube email to fans today. The band is cancelling some of their upcoming shows, but fortunately, the impending surgery and radiation are not expected to affect his voice.
