Press Release:

As punk has lurched from one sickening bubblegum, boy band-esque trend to another, it is refreshing to know that there is an act that continues to fly the flag for raw intensity, integrity and innovation within a genre that once prided itself on its hardcore ethic. GALLOWS are that band.

From inauspicious beginnings in and around the Greater London punk scene, Gallows have gone on to become a pioneering leader in hardcore punks's global revitalisation. The band's 2006 debut release 'Orchestra of Wolves' launched the attitude-heavy quintet into the limelight with their unique brand of smashmouth, riff-driven mayhem, culminating in appearances on the Vans Warped Tour, South By Southwest, and the Reading and Download festivals. Throw in an inclusion on the acclaimed Guitar Hero video game franchise, Kerrang's Newcomer of the Year award and a series of charting singles, and this was a band destined for greatness in the annuls of all things truly punk.

Now, following the release of their critically-heralded spite-filled sophomore opus 'Grey Britain', Gallows return to New Zealand following their appearance at the 2007 Taste of Chaos festival, bringing with them Canadian hardcore merchants COMEBACK KID; a perennial favourite among Kiwi circle pit dwellers, having toured New Zealand several times, with each tour yielding progressively larger and more dance-psychotic crowds.

More seething and ready to destroy all pits before them than ever before, Gallows and Comeback Kid will perform shows in Wellington and Auckland during a whirlwind tour not to be missed.
