Killing Bear Reveal 'Pop-Up' Album Artwork
Would you take a look at that fancy artwork right there! Killing Bear are a new band from quaint Pukerua Bay near Wellington and have just self-released their debut album Wild Beasts. The concept for the artwork came from lead singer Cormac Ferris, while the illustrations were done by the band's friend Tane Williams.
Revolving around the idea of a comic book that Ferris created, the music and art is inspired by the world of Frank Williams, a man living in a post apocalyptic future. The album also comes with an illustrated poster of Williams done by another friend of the band Thaw Naing.
In a world of plastic cases and lacklustre liner notes, it's very nice to see a band putting a bit of effort in!
