Passion Pit Cover Smahing Pumpkins' Tonight, Tonight

Passion Pit covering Smashing Pumpkins? Not an obvious choice by any stretch, but we have to say that they do a pretty good job of reworking the Pumpkins' 'Tonight, Tonight'. The recording is in aid of some sort of Levi's promotion, who will give you the song as a download if you register on their site HERE.

Of course, the band are on their way here next month, but we're pretty sure this song won't make an appearance. You can have a listen to snippets of it in the video below though, where Passion Pit main man Michael Angelakos has a chat about why he chose to cover the song.
