A saddening statement has been released by Sticky Filth regarding their guitarist Chris Snowden who was hit by a car in Auckland last Friday....

"At 2.30pm on Friday 16th July 2010, Chris Snowden, Guitarist and long – time member of New Plymouth band Sticky Filth was struck by a car while crossing Dominion Road in Auckland.

Chris has sustained head injuries and is in a stable condition in Auckland hospital. Prognosis at this early stage is positive.

The family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed concern, sent best wishes and said prayers on Chris’s behalf.

Due to the nature of Chris’s injuries it is requested that visiting is restricted to immediate family only. Regular updates on Chris’s condition will be posted via Sticky Filth’s facebook page.

At this time all Sticky Filth scheduled show dates have either been postponed or cancelled. If you have purchased tickets for the 30th July Kings Arms Show we will be in touch shortly."

We will be in touch with UTR ticket holders, all other ticket holders please contact your point of sale for refund details.

Best wishes to Chris and his family - UTR.
