Video Premiere: Family Cactus - Coal Town

The video is for “Coal Town” off their brilliant debut album Come Howling released last year and word is they have just finished recording album number two which they're looking to release next Feb.
Directed by Bryson Rooney the video was shot in one day in the Wairarapa Valley and is inspired by the ending to the Haruki Murakami novel 'Hard-Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World'.
“Whilst the video is open to interpretation, our plot follows two characters who are meant to find each other in order to escape the world that they are trapped in. Forces who are conveyed through ethereal lights seem to guide them to 'the exit'” - Rooney.
