Camp A Low Hum

Camp A Low Hum

Saturday 28th October, 2006 12:00PM

From the lowhum headquarters:

To celebrate the end of the 2006 A LOW HUM tours, in early 2007 there will be a three day very exclusive camp. With canoeing, confidence course, bbqs, swimming, campfires, bush walks and of course... three days of amazing live music.

The camp (not a festival) hopes to be the first "music festival" in this country which solves every problem associated with other festivals. I am collating a list here of things I hate about festivals which I am working around. If there is something that bugs you about festivals that isn't here, please email me: camp (at) alowhum.com

- Too many people
- You can never see every act playing and have to run around like a stressed idiot
- You can't see bands play in an intimate indoors setting, only outside in a big space
- They're over too fast
- You don't get to meet people and hang chatting as you're always running about madly
- Its too expensive for people who are far from the location to get there
- Alcohol is too expensive
- The only mementos you get to take home are either a nasty sun-burn or an overpriced tshirt
- Bands only play once
- The "biggest profile" bands all play in the evening, so you have nothing to do suring the day
and then have to sprint around like a mad fucker at night when you're tired from doing nothing all day.

There will only be very limited, seriously, LIMITED tickets sold for this amazing three day party, so if you want to register your interest so you have a chance to get a ticket before they get offered publicly, email me: campingiscool (at) alowhum.com
