Album Preview: Hussies - Grey Headed Ghosts
Monday, 22nd November 2010 3:07PMA couple of weeks back we posted news of a new release from Sharpie Crows members Jackson Hobbs and Casey Latimer under their new and slightly less scary to google image search name Hussies (previous incarnation being Girls Pissing). Their album Grey Headed Ghosts is out next Monday (29th November) via Muzai Records who have allowed us to pick a bunch of tracks and stream them all this week.
In our recent interview with Jackson Hobbs described their sound perfectly saying it's "like eating a Fanta and vanilla spider and really enjoying it, and then you realise that you've got aching cavities in your teeth, but you can't throw it away because you suffer from poverty mentality."
And the album really is sickly sweet at points but ultimately an enjoyable summer album as intended. Check out the preview below and click HERE to read the full interview with Jackson if you haven't already.
