“Another breeding ground for new hardcore acts is the beautiful continent, Australia. Carpathian almost reminds me of a young Hatebreed and if thats the case, you know the guys are on the path to success." - decoymusic.com

Carpathian has spent the last 18 months making a name for themselves in their home of Melbourne and throughout the rest of Australia on the road with their punishing live show. Having supported the most credible and influential heavy music acts in Australia and the world (Bleeding Through, Evergreen Terrace, Most Precious Blood, Shai Hullud, On Broken Wings, Every Time I Die, Comeback Kid, Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen).

Carpathian finally have an album which can be described as an accurate soundtrack to the energy and buzz of Australian Hardcore in 2006. Nothing To Lose' is the highly anticipated debut full length release.

This album finds the band defining their previous sound while incorporating brand new non-genre specific influences that has not been achieved by any Australian Hardcore act with this kind of precision. This release embraces no-one single element but instead attributes an entire musical movement in 25 minutes of relentless and punishing breakdowns, inspiring singalongs and lyrics that speak to a scene who are quickly growing tired of metaphors and insincerity.

Carpathian bring their brand of heavy music to New Zealand this December for a series of punishing shows with friends ANTAGONIST (whose debut album ‘These Cities Our Graves’ is out now on 1157).

Tickets available on the door.
