Kylesa Announce Second Auckland Show

Tuesday 15th February, 2011 12:58PM

Due to the high demand for tickets to Kylesa's show with The Melvins and High on Fire at Whammy Bar next week, the band have decided to stick around for another night and play one more show joined by High On Fire.

Kylesa, High On Fire + Guests
Thursday 24th February, Wine Cellar and Whammy Bar

Limited tickets on sale now exclusively from HERE at Undertheradar.co.nz

Here's the trailer for their latest album Spiral Shadow release in October last year.

And here's a video for "Tired Climb" from the new album...

Press Release:

"Due to the overwhelming demand of the Auckland public for high volume American sludge 'n' doom in a subterranean K Road locale, RW Entertainment and Under The Radar are stoked to announce another night of thunderous stoned grooves at Whammy Bar on Thursday February 24th.

Savannah, Georgia psychedelic metallers KYLESA will team up with California stoner gods HIGH ON FIRE for one final night of pummelling live action to cap off a week of riff-filled madness. Both acts will perform extended, 75 minute long sets (compared to 45 minute sets at previous shows on the tour) to showcase a fuller ranger of their material.

Auckland stoner/doom locals THE HOUSE OF CAPRICORN and SHALLOW GRAVE and Wellington's BEASTWARS will team up to open proceedings for the night in the neighbouring Wine Cellar bar, before High On Fire and then Kylesa work their magic inside the dark confines of Whammy Bar".

Tickets are strictly limited, and available only from www.undertheradar.co.nz
