ANTAGONIST A.D. OLD BONES MAKE NEW BLOOMS WINTER TOUR, 2011
Internationally acclaimed and respected locals Antagonist A.D. are set to return to our roads and stages this Winter to tour their latest release, OLD BONES MAKE NEW BLOOMS (1157).
"We took our time with this last release to just relax through the whole process. Have fun writing and recording - it's cliched of the genre to say that the songs are heavier and faster but they really are, Nate Sowter (Red Dog Studios) managed to transfer that live feeling onto the record - overall it's easily the most energetic and aggressive recording we've done," said vocalist Sam Crocker.
"The songs have been available for a while now and we're excited to get out and play them live".
On tour with the Antagonist A.D. are Wellington's finest melodic punk act 'The Outsiders'.
Only a band for two and a half years The Outsiders have toured the US/Europe/UK Australia and New Zealand constantly supporting heavyweights such as Nofx, Strung Out, Dead to Me, Strike Anywhere, The Flatliners, Against Me and countless others.
The band has played everything from squats in East Germany to major music festivals such as The Fest 9 in Florida and No Sleep Till Auckland, the band have been featured in AMP Magazine and Blank TV (US).
The Outsiders have built a great reputation worldwide. The debut EP was released in 2008, followed by The Words Will Write Themselves Album in 2010 on Isaac/Universal. Mid 2011 will see the release of the bands second EP on Deadboy Records (New Zealand) and extensive touring of NZ/Australia/Europe and the US will follow.
