Listen: God Bows To Math EP - Solar Lights Don't Work At Night

Tuesday 14th June, 2011 10:22AM

Auckland noise-rockers God Bows to Math have just offered up their latest EP - Solar Lights Don't Work at Night - for both stream and a 'pay what you want' download on their Band Camp.

About Solar Lights Don't Work at Night, from the band:

"The EP is pay what you like with no minimum (so basically free) and it's a bit of a teaser for our forthcoming debut album (due to hit the shelves in mid-October). It was recorded in our practice space last year by a guy calls Daniel Speight and augmented by an additional track recorded this month by Tyler Burke. It was originally was meant to be part of an album but we ended up losing a whole bunch of tracks through a hard-drive catastrophe. The first three songs are all new material written during the last year after Sam joined the band, the last song and first single (Teenagers is Lazy Journalism) is an older song from 2008 when we first started out".

The band are also playing shows in support of this EP release. Head here to check out the dates.
