
NZOA Announces First Making Tracks Funding Grants
NZOA last night announced the first grants to made under the new Making Tracks scheme which was developed after prolonged pressure on the agency to update how it funded NZ music.
There are still some dubious choices but it does appear to be a better cross section of artists.
Here are the recipients and details of the grants, you'll find a list of the panel members who decided on the recipients below also.
MAKING TRACKS FUNDING: JULY 2011
[A] Funding of up to $10,000 for each of the following 13 MakingTracks projects, comprising up to $4,000 for recording a song and $6,000 for making a music video of that same song:
