PJ Harvey Wins Second Mercury Prize

PJ Harvey has taken out her second Mercury Prize for her new album Let England Shake! Harvey first one the Mercury Prize ten years ago for her fifth album Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea. There is much to admire here, what an exemplary talent Harvey is, both these albums are truly great.

Her fellow nominees were:

Ghostpoet – Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam
Anna Calvi – Anna Calvi
Tinie Tempah – Disc-Overy
Elbow – Build A Rocket Boys
Gwilym Simcock – Good Days at Schloss Elmau
James Blake – James Blake
Katy B – On A Mission
King Creosote & Jon Hopkins – Diamond Minee
