Download: Bright Eyes Covers The White Stripes for Charity
Thursday, 6th October 2011 11:47AMThe Gift Horse Project and Manimal Vinyl Records have teamed up to create a compilation album of covers called Cool for School: For the Benefit of the Lunchbox Fund. The likes of Bright Eyes and Albert Hammond Jnr. have contributed covers to the 10 track album of which all proceeds go to the aforementioned charity's aim to provide South African high school kids with lunch. Bright Eyes' cover of The White Stripes' 'We're Going to be Friends' and Albert Hammond Jnr's version of Big Star's 'Thirteen' are available for stream and download below and you can head over here to donate.
