Friday Flashback: The Kinks - Sunny Afternoon

The Kinks were always going to feature in a Friday Flashback at some point and as we glimpse the beautiful day outside from our dark sunless office, their 1966 song 'Sunny Afternoon' came to mind. It is actually a slightly melancholic song despite it's name, inspired by the political climate in UK at the time - explaining maybe why you'll find them performing it in the snow in the video below as opposed to a sunny summer's afternoon...
