Listen: Election 2011 Songs
Thursday, 17th November 2011 11:13AMThe build up to the elections isn't always that pleasant but a few musicians are making the most of this important occasion - putting their talents to good use to create election themed tunes to help get us through to voting day (26th Nov).
First up is Wellington quartet The Eversons with their song 'Vote For Act':
Gold Medal Famous have released a number of different versions of their election track 'John Key Is A Dick' - we've chosen the happy hardcore version here but head to their bandcamp to check out other versions such as chillwave, grime and bbq reggae:
Lawrence Arabia has been lending a hand creating jingles for the some of the parties:

And last but certainly not least is a track from Home Brew - 'Listen To Us'. It features Tourettes and Matthew Crawley and is expected to be included on a forthcoming release.
