Listen: Jed Town Introduces X Features and Fetus Productions
Tuesday, 22nd November 2011 3:30PMLong an ambassador of New Zealand's alternative arts scenes, Jed Town takes to the live stage this week with two of his pivotal musical projects, punk band [X] Features and experimental audio/visual ensemble Fetus Productions.
We asked Town to select some tracks to for us to stream ahead of the show, which of course celebrates the 30th anniversary of Flying Nun Records, and introduce each song. Have a listen below and track Town's development from punk in the late seventies through to experimental-psychedelic rock in the eighties and then to his London inspired trance and techno days from the early 90s.
