Friday Flashback: The Supremes - My World Is Empty Without You

Some of the greatest melancholic-pop came out of the sixties -  Mamas and Papas, the Phil Spector crew and the Motown camp all produced these beautifully sad songs and disguised them with the pop sensibilities of the time. We stumbled upon one such track from The Supreme's recently, 'My World Is Empty Without You', and have found a couple of versions to feature today...

"My World Is Empty Wihtout You' was released in 1965, here is a recorded version...

And here is a version without the main vocals of Diana Ross, highlighting the work of the legendary Motown song-writer Holland-Dozier-Holland.
