We know how hard this time of year can be on the ol wallet so thanks to Laneway Festival and the great labels behind the artists playing weve put together some awesome virtual  Xmas Crackers again this year to giveaway. They include tickets to the festival and some of the best albums of 2011 so you can study up before the big day...

The Horrors successfully followed up their critically acclaimed sophomore album Primary Colours (2009) earlier this year with Skying.
   

Feist - Metals (Universal)

SBTRKT - SBTRKT (Young Turks)

Masked musician/producer SBTRKT, released a their debut full length this year which will be performed live at the festival.

Austra -Feel it Break -Double Disc Tour Edition (Domino)

 Theatrical and dark, Canadian singer/producer Austra won herself a Polaris Prize nomination for her debut album Feel It Break.

Twin Shadow - Forget (4AD)

A highlight of 2010, Twin Shadow aka George Lewis Jr. released his first full length to critical acclaim.  The album was co-produced by Grizzly Bears Chris Taylor and released on his label Terrible Records (US only - 4AD bought him to our shores).

Anna Calvi - Anna Calvi (Domino)

Anna Calvi had already received accolades by some pretty high profile artists such as Nick Cave and Brian Eno ahead of her debut self-titled which cemented her impressive live reputation.

Wu Lyf - Go Tell Fire To The Mountain (Liberation)

Wu Lyf released their debut album Go Tell Fire To The Mountain shrouded in intrigue but music stood up to the hype.

Glasser - Ring (True Panther)

Glasser, aka one-woman orchestra Cameron Mesirou, released her debut album Ring this year. She weaves sweet but powerful vocals amongst delicate, tribal, soundscapes.

Yuck - Yuck (Mercury Records/Universal)

An offshoot of popular British band Cajun Dance Party, Yuck made waves of hype with their self-titled debut released in February and deservedly so.

Cults - Cults (Sony Music)

New indie-pop sensations Cults also released their debut album this year with single after single youll recognise from your local bnet station.
