When news hit that the legendary Hot Water Music were taking a hiatus, we waited with baited breath for details to
emerge of a new project by 3/4ths of the band.
Enter The Draft - George Robello, Jason Black and Chris Wollard along with new recruit Todd Rockhill (Discount)
Reinvention can be a bitch but when The Drafts debut In A Million Pieces (Epitaph) reached our ears in 2006 it was met
with critical acclaim and fans worldwide collectively breathed a sigh of relief. In a Million Pieces is composed of 12
powerful, hard hitting tracks that sees these Florida punk rockers move beyond the legacy of Hot Water Music into new
territory and is a victorious shout at the world – The Draft are here!
In March, 2007 The Draft released a self-titled digital EP, containing four more rockin’, toe-tapping, melodic punk
anthems which represents The Draft in all its new glory.
What becomes obvious when you see The Draft live is that when it comes to forceful, fluid and intricate punk-inspired
sounds, few roar with the kind of expression and passion than that of The Draft. Don’t miss your opportunity to see this
veteran group of musicians.
THE DRAFT will be joined by very special guests COBRA KHAN and making his first live appearances solo and acoustic
(and we’re all very, very excited!) Mr Ryan Thomas – front man for our own legendary punk veterans SOMMERSET.
