The Brunettes unleash A Trophy Wife creation and in celebration play an All Ages Show!
NZ's indie pop sweethearts, The Brunettes release their first video from the forthcoming album 'Structure & Cosmetics'.
Film Makers A Trophy Wife have just completed a romantic-comedy-drama- art piece video for the first single ' Her Hairagami Set'. Their first collaboration with The Brunettes tells the dark tale of beauty and victims finding love. The story is told using handmade marionettes and sets, playing out within a girls' comic book fantasy world. Dreary schoolgirl Ruby realises her inner beauty with the help from Her Hairagami Set and teen angels 'the Brunettes' and after confronting her scene-conscious school bullies Ruby finds love.
TROPHY WIFE is an animation music video company from Auckland New Zealand. A collective of artists, writers and film makers who all have great hair.
The NZ on Air funded video will be aired this week on a TV set near you.
Celebrating the radio success of 'Her Hairagami Set' which has enjoyed excellent chart positions across all BNet stations, and the video release, – the Brunettes will play an All Ages Show at the Masonic, Devonport on June 23 rd. The Brunettes will also play an R18 Show at the Masonic that night.
