Music fans with Freeview or Sky can now look forward to more C4 as we extend to 24 hours on Digital! From July - every weekday morning you’ll be able to ‘start your day in a C4 way’ with “THE BIG BREAKFAST” from 6.00am where we’ll be playing the biggest, freshest hits through to 10.00am and, at no extra charge, we’ll include a clock on screen so you’ll know how much time you’ve got before you have to jump in the shower! “THE TOP 10 AT 10” is exactly that, a themed top 10 countdown which will screen every weekday morning at 10.00am. Then we’re straight into an uninterrupted 30 minutes of the very hottest videos right now - with “SO HOT RIGHT NOW” at 11.00am. “WHAT’S THE THEME” will feature videos from a range of music themes whether it be “From The Movies”, “One Hit Wonders”, “Superstar Cameos”, “Karaoke Classics” or “Comedy Videos” to name a few. “What’s the Theme” runs 11.30am - midday Monday to Friday, and 12.30 - 1.00pm - Monday and Tuesday. Fans of “THE DAILY SHOW” will be pleased to know that Wednesday through Saturday we’ll be repeating the previous nights episode at 12.30pm - so you can catch up on the best fake news show in the world during your lunch break! Then at 1.00pm Wednesdays, lock the doors, close your curtains and turn up the volume….it’s time to get guilty with “GUILTY PLEASURES” - an hour dedicated to all those great songs & bands that you love but are too embarrassed to admit!
C4's analogue viewers will join the channel from 2.00pm, as per our normal schedule.
From midnight through to 6.00am weeknights C4 will screen “INSOMNIA” for Digital viewers - a back to back music video show with a playlist tailored to suit those to whom sleep doesn’t come easy.
C4’s new weekend programming line up - will run 24 hours on both Free to Air and Digital so all music fans can enjoy. Featuring a variety of shows the new line up will cater to all types of music lovers! New shows include C4U - a web driven show in which a viewer is able to program a half hour show, ROOM 13 - a hour long show full of emocore, screamo, hardcore and all the rest! Mixtape show - C 60 - an hours worth of music from every genre - and a viewers chart whereby votes are taken online. These new weekend music shows will fill the hours between midnight and 8am and cater for the more eclectic tastes.
These changes come into effect weekend of July 7th and 8th - off the back of LIVE EARTH - the monumental music event which we will be screening for 22 hours from 8pm 7.7.07. Should you require any further information, please just let me know.
