When Dum Dum Girls played Auckland a few months back the date was both their last in a world tour and the final appearance of red-headed member Katie Serbian-Brouillete. She's gone on to focus on her own project, Cheap Curls, and is due to release her debut 7" on Art Fag Recording sometime soon. The label have dropped the first single, 'Jackie Oh' online, and - sounding similar to previous band and many current purveyors of fashionable, California-channeling riffs - you can have a listen below.
