Record Store Day is this Saturday (21st April) and a bunch of stores across the country are taking part. Below you'll find a selection of stores and what they're up to but whether officially participating or not this is a great excuse to get along and show your local independent record store some love...

Flaming Lips have a put together an epic release for Record Store Day that we'll certainly be trying to get our mits on - titled Flaming Lips and And Heady Fwends it features collaborations with a host of amazing artists including Nick Cave, Bon Iver, Yoko Ono, Erykah Badu, Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt and more. They've just released this incredibly NSFW, and at times just plain offensive, video for their track with New Fumes -'Girl, You're So Weird' ....
