Press Release:

COLLAPSING CITIES RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘REGRET’ AND ANNOUNCE LONG-AWAITED ‘STRANGERS AGAIN’ ALBUM RELEASE

Collapsing Cities release their latest single ‘Regret’ on Tuesday 15 May.

The band has also revealed that their long-awaited second album ‘Strangers Again’ will be released on the Pastel Pistol label on 13 July.

Collapsing Cities topped the Bnet charts with a string of singles including ‘Elixir Always’, ‘So I Said Last Weekend’ and ‘Seriously’.

Their debut album ‘Elixir Always’ featured in numerous 2008 ‘year’s best albums’ lists and the group’s acidic lyrics and infectious grooves made them firm favourites on the local scene.

A single ‘Fear of Opening My Mouth’ was released in the UK by Way Out West and the group relocated for period of sleeping on floors in East London.

Collapsing Cities were picked out as one of “10 Hopes for the Future” by NME amongst a slew of great press and festival performances in Britain.

But you can’t eat good reviews and eventually the group returned home to spend the next couple of years working on tracks for ‘Strangers Again’.

The first track ‘Tazers’ appeared some time back and now ‘Regret’ confirms that new music from Collapsing Cities is very much worth the wait.
