Brand New Math - Moustache Party EP Release

Brand New Math - Moustache Party EP Release

Saturday 21st June, 2008 12:00PM

On the back of their first bnet hit – Weapon of Parnell, a tale of rohypnol and C4 presenters that was number one on the 95bfm Top Ten for a month – AK-electro-grungists Brand New Math have got a new EP ready. Named after 1) the parties held last month in Auckland and Wellington 2) the band’s attempts to become men and 3) the Nineteenth Centry Men of Science they admire, ‘Moustache Party’ will be launched July 11th at The King’s Arms, Auckland.

Lately they’ve recorded 4 songs, mixed up a remix or two, written plenty of new tunes, played Camp A Low Hum ’08 and as well as lots of other gigs and two tours. As a result of their endeavours they’ve made some recent page space with Artrocker, Real Groove, NZMusician and Black Magazine.

Now, they’ve settled on their live sound as they get set to play ALL NEW new material and promote their upcoming second EP, recorded at The Depot Artspace in Devonport by Shannon Walsh and Calum Gunn and mixed and mastered by Ed Cake.

‘Moustache Party’ will be available through Border Music mid-July.
