TV On The Radio continue down their path of being at the forefront of imaginative new music that can still go down live and confuse even the most genre dependent music lovers.
Their new album Dear Science is similar in all aspects to their previous offerings: slick, sonic, sludgy, a welcoming warm tone, a slight rough edge and at times cinematic.
Their music sits best with me on the high tempo numbers like Dancing Choose, where they bottle up some of that energy. Though slower tune Halfway Home is also a stand out.
Having heard this only reinforces how good they are and what a treat they are going to be live.
