EP from NZ/Austin Tx’s Honey Claws.
Big electro drumming and chanty vocals is the instant opening impression, kind of an indie dub? I guess think the Knife or a distorted non preppy Vampire Weekend and Tricky in parts.
This EP is a lively recording that kind of sounds like and industrial area in Jamaica, big and cold in parts but all with a fluid beat underneath and dominant sub bass.
It’s a good sample of their undeniable producing talent. Bring on the album.
