While we normally don’t review compilations, The Who are an exception and have for the most part of their career been an exception.
They were the first over the top, smash em up, destroy the stage band that now seems written in scripture for any rock band, even to the point of some of their disciples having stage ready instruments for the breaking.
This compilation is a great one off summary of The Who's best moments and with over 37 songs you bloody better hope so. They were cool, they were in charge and they used all their power of persuasion to push further into music as long as the effects could last.
It’s a great summary of one of the great bands.
