Auckland group The Wicks release their debut Why Do People Walk, a recording with a frenzied folk approach. I think a little like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Violent Femmes (with horns).
I'm not usually a fan of wind instruments but they seem to fit in nicely here. Fast little pop numbers with a fun dancing sound.
Favourite song and one that I think sums The Wicks up is Tertius, kind of a adult tantrum of a pop song with great expansive parts.
