Don’t let the name fool you there are some parts to Dark Days/Light Years which are far from what their name suggests.
Kicking off with a glitchy electro start this album soon locks itself into what SFA are most well known for; fuzy indie pop hits.
This album seems to have a more dancefloor friendly edge, with high emphasis on the rhythm and backing electronics and the odd Prince-ish falsetto.
It’s a fun listen, and a nice sounding album but it would be stronger if they held onto a single direction.
