The Rabble's second album The Battle's Almost Over begins with a feel more like the battle is just beginning; a monstrous punk chant to lead the charge to a certain victory.

It’s somewhat odd that a punk band from NZ can sound so together and this is what has leapt the Rabble above its other counterparts in NZ.

This album has its badges of the Clash and certainly Rancid, as well as a smattering of bands like Sommerset and Missing Teeth as an indicator of substance, but to the key difference would be more focus on anthems.

This is music for live viewing, music for Saturday night, music for drinking.
