New(ish) album from Auckland one man band Radio Over Moscow is fascinating proposition. To kick it off you have a combination of acoustic guitars and synths (which could easily go astray), but its when all the layers are added you are confronted with quite the wall of noise.

Bands like Killing Joke, NIN, even a place to Bury Strangers would be close comparisons, possibly because of the feel of the drum machines. I’d go as far as to call this somewhat industrial, while at points local bands like Disasterradio or even early Good Shirt come to mind.

Standout track - "Pakistan"
