The band that stirred up such a storm the first time they played Aucklands Kings arms, with parallels bantered about Debbie Harry’s onstage appeal.
This band was going to be huge. And huge they are, but true to the most interesting groups they haven’t stuck with their same sound over again, this album is almost a re-invention skewed back into a more pop vein.
Does this work? Yeah, I think it fits very nicely with songs like Rat is Dead being the centerpiece for their new sound.
